Chapter 2 exercises complete.

A very interesting perspective on the applications of rare events to biology. Not very rigorous but it seems like a good casual read for anyone with a vague interest in biophysics. It has made me want to confirm some of the claims about the mutation rates scaling laws. I am also interested as to why such a scaling law might fail for certain systems.

Best thermodynamics book out there. Any serious scientist studying chemical physics or adjacent needs to read this.

I’m confused so far ngl. Need to re read the gauss principle section.
