okayyy i’m really liking the flow now. this chapter (5) and the way it talked about her mothers cancer was beautiful, and though she’s cold about it she describes it too like,, beautifully to not feel a sort of attachment to her mother, or at least what she taught her.

the writing style is starting to make more sense to me, yay! it flows better now

okay, i’m starting to really fuck with the writing because it fits the character. her self-important prose and language just reminds me of patrick bateman, except she’s not insecure and she genuinely believes she’s the best thing since sliced bread. i do like it.

now why are we mentioning the breast arc of a 15 year old girl..

i can TELL the author studied british literature like she said in her little biography. some of these descriptions seem wordy and redundant, but i kinda like it.

narrative-wise, the mention of sex and genitalia seem to play as a counterpart to the idea of a male serial killer who sexualizes everything. i like this opposing feminist version.

interesting so far, language is descriptive and interesting. romances aren’t really my thing so the “oh i hate this dress he gave me” and pompous attitude of the fae guy seems very cliche. however i do think it can get better.
