Still not fully hooked, still trusting the process, but I’m watching this book very closely.

MVP? No idea. Confusion? Absolutely.
Plot update: still don’t know what’s going on. But now it feels big. Like… “this is going to get out of hand” big.
No theories. Just questions. Many questions.

Chapter 6 of The Eye of the World: classic fantasy vibes.

Not hooked, but curious. Feels like setup, so I’m trusting the process.

World feels big. No theories, just blind faith.

Ch. 10 done. The outline of Kelsier’s plan is getting clearer, though the deeper “why” still isn’t. The crew feels chaotic rather than revolutionary, which makes the scale of the plan even stranger. I still don’t trust Kelsier, and Vin feels more pulled along than in control. The revolution theme is definitely central.

Ch. 5 done. I understand the plan now, but not the deeper “why” behind it. The revolution theme is getting stronger. Still don’t trust Kelsier at all. The regime doesn’t feel fragile yet — if anything, the scale of what he’s attempting makes it seem even more impossible.

Ch. 1–2 done. The world feels bigger now that we’re in Luthadel. Strong 1984-style undertones of systemic control. I trust Vin more than Kelsier, who still feels strategic and opportunistic. The plan is vague so far, but this is clearly shaping into a story about revolution. Curious how subtle it will stay.

Finished the prologue. The world feels deeply dystopian, like something broke long ago. Not sure if it was intentional or a terrible mistake. Kelsier is charismatic but I don’t trust him at all. Very curious to see how the magic system develops. Intrigued so far.
