This book series does not seem to like happy endings

This book has me hooked

The conflict of this book seems earlier than the others, I am nervous about how it will be resolved and truly hope it has a happy ending

The main character’s self-centredness is off-putting, especially as her smarts which were so explicitly mentioned in the first book seem to be forgotten. That being said I am so glad that such a book is covering topics which are often not mentioned in similar series

I’m really starting to get invested in the story and I’m going to order the next book in the series

The terms are getting more familiar but I still find myself lost at certain points

There is lots of info dumping of terms not expanded on and bespoke to the world, this means I have had to search and try and understand these terms before continuing, but it has piqued my curiosity and led me to loose an evening to it
