It's a decent read. Easy to read, interesting enough story without too much drama but enough to keep it from being boring. I love swimming which is why I got the book. There's lots in here but not a lot of technicals.

Very interesting read. I don't know of it agree with everything but he does a good job of using a biblical foundation for the suggestions he gives. This is not the book where he argues for continuation of gift, this is if you believe in them and want to know biblical practical ways to allow them to edify the church.

It's interesting so far. I believe in spiritual gifts today so I'm not reading it from a lens of non belief in them. However, I am super skeptical when gifts are 'used' in front of me. I feel like most times I walk away feeling it was forced or miscatrgorized.

I'm really trying to like this because I absolutely loved her other novel 'Kindred' but I am really close to bailing and skipping to book 2 which apparently is better... We'll see

So far? Pretty meh.

Just dumb. Infuriating and dumb. Suspension of belief has long snapped.

So, I don't know. I mean I'm not particularly invested in anything that is going on. The descriptions are tedious and repetitive. The main character seems to always be ready to fly of the handle which seems to make it hard to believe she hasn't revealed herself before. I don't see how this isn't going to be messy or even worse forced into some weird twisted bow. The permiss seemed somewhat interesting but meh so far

I'll be honest, I'm just reading to finish. I'm not particularly connected to anything in the story. There's a bunch of new characters and a bunch of new mysteries but it all seems pretty shallow and confusing.

It's occurred to me that it's kind of weird that in the nine years it's been, she never went into the city or find out about any of these weird things and only now is stuff starting to show up. She's somewhat impulsive and ignorant in a way that is beginning to irritate me. I'm invested in figuring out what's happening now though.

I'm enjoying the read though honestly sometimes I get lost in the characters and remembering who's who. There's a bunch going on and so much mystery surrounding stuff.

So far it's faster moving then Fire. I enjoy Bitterblue as a character. Intrigue and mystery is already present in droves. I have high hopes I'll enjoy it

It's gotten more interesting. More characters introduced, more stuff happening.

So far it's a much slower read than Graceling. Different characters, different story. The romance is already forefront which I'm not fond of but whatever. The mystery isn't really gripping yet.

So much discovered. So much drama. Loving it.

I'm enamored with Po. He's a perfect match for her. I generally don't like the romance bits but this one is interesting.

I am enjoying the banter between characters. The story line is keeping my attention. So far a very enjoyable read. A little low stakes mystery and the beginnings of a romance.

So far it seems interesting. Easy reading. Despite her grace, there's been no killing so far.
