I have begun reading one of the most influential geography works of all time. It is however in Latin so I will translate it with my Latin dictionary. It will take a long time, but I am excited!

Finished chapter 1. It discussed Plato. It almost solely focused on The Republic, and as a person who has read The Republic and is a fan of Plato was disappointed. Did not mention his idea of the World of Many Forms at all. Simply summed his thoughts on suffering with minimal analysis.

Only 20 pages in and this might be the most impactful work I've ever read. I know much of this, but it is made clear and reminds us of many things. Lessons on social conditioning and personal wants and pleasure. Excellent
