I tentatively challenged myself to read this all in one day ... Yeah, not happening.

Probably one of my favorite opening scenes of any book in recent memory.

I am pleasantly surprised at how phenomenal, original, and self-aware this is! I thought the premise would be a lot more clichéd.

On one hand, far from Thomas Pynchon's best, but on the other hand, very sick to see him tastefully name-drop Hideo Kojima while bashing quant analysts!

Thank goodness there is at least one contemporary poet these days who knows how to write damn good prose when they endeavor to write prose.
