Page 213 of 400, and just 2 days in! To describe this as a page turner would be an understatement!
Connolly’s storytelling is similar to, and as enjoyable, as Stephen King’s.
Great characters, intricate but not impenetrable plotlines.

Paul Waldron is starting A Slanting of the Sun

This is a collection of beautiful written short stories by one of Ireland’s best authors. I generally dislike and rarely read short stories but these are powerful yet understated.
I’ve enjoyed some of his novels, and I dip into this collection from time to time when I’m between books.
Highly recommended!
