so far this book well captures the defensiveness of being 19 and yearning for queer love, which I relate to!! But alas,, I am not interested in digging in my heels, or insisting I love a Richard when I don’t. I enjoy the dialogue and dislike the descriptive prose,,, maybe this book would’ve hit me differently if I read earlier. Who’s to say!

This book well captures the defensiveness and gay lust of being 19,,, however I’m not interested in being defensive and unsure of my queerness anymore,,, this book would’ve been more interesting to me earlier in life maybe. I enjoy the dialogue and dislike the descriptive parts of the prose
