Im more than halfway through the book and keep forcing myself to continue so I can finish… while its not a horrible read I genuinely am so bored and the narrative keeps repeating and none of the characters are either charming nor compelling and its genuinely frustrating at times. I’m sorry Henri Troyat I can’t do this
