Just started, it’s been good. I can’t stand the sisters though, they’re so ungrateful for Freyas work! They didn’t even say thank you after she brought them food. And the dad has to speak up for her. I think she’s going to have some kind of power. maybe she’s a faerie?

That geisha girl is soo rude. No la soporto. It’s so evidently clear that she’s jelous of Chyoto (don’t know her name yet)

I think when the main becomes a famous and recognized geisha she will like meet that geisha girl again.

I was feeling sorry for the dad and kind of mad at the main character for wanting that guy to adopt her. But then he SOLD them?! I’m thinking he’s using that money to buy that robe for his wife. He also KNEW they were going to be sold and didn’t even say goodbye? he was just cleaning..
That Mr.Bekker guy is a creep and that other woman (don’t know her name yet) too. So they were sold to two different men?

I loved this book so much. It felt new & exciting. I felt compelled with the stories of these 3 women all the way through to the end. I’ve been on a reading slump lately because I haven’t found the right book. Thank god I did now. I was excited to make my own silly predictions and being surprised by the outcomes.
Also Celeste making a trust fund for Ziggy? Ugh I love her.

PERRY IS SAXON BANKS?!!!! I literally gasped and had to take a minute to process what was happening.

I KNEW TOM WASNT GAY!! ugh I love them (Jane + Tom) together. He’s literally so sweet.

I thought one of the main women was going to die. Didn’t realize it was going to be Perry. I was beginning to think Perry was going to kill Celeste. Thank god that didn’t happen. And Bonnie?! wow utterly surprised.

1. I love Tom and how he defended Jane. I hope he isn’t gay so they can stay together
2. I TOLD YOU IT WAS ONE OF THE TWINS. I guess Max is evil. I was trying to look for the page when one of the twins says something sketchy about killing but I can’t find it I wanted to see if it was Max.
4. Perry is CRAZY. When he stepped out of the car I knew something was off. It angers me that they hug after every fight.

Saxon Banks is Perry’s cousin?! I mean it makes sense. Guess it runs in the family. I think Ziggy is not the bully, I think it’s one of Celeste’s twins. They keep saying Jane thinks Ziggy might have inherited evil from his dad, but why can’t the twins? I’m just remembering they also said something about killing earlier in the book and Celeste stopped them. So I think it’s one of them.

I LOVE GWEN!! I love how discretely but firmly she insinuated she knew Perry abuses her [Celeste]. The comparison to the tennis partner and how she told her it was not her fault. Gwen better help her!

I’ve been loving this book. I still don’t know who dies, I’m thinking it’s Renata. And what’s up with that Ziggy kid?? The way some of the women describe him scares me a bit but I don’t think he did what Amabella is accusing him of. I’m not completely sure though. Celeste and Jane need to switch their coping mechanisms already because I cannot stand them blaming themselves!
