One Hundred Years of Solitude is so beautiful, surreal and magical. It really ties in w South American history, from the exploration to the leftist revolution to the American takeove. But I feel this overarching sense of loneliness that pervades throughout the novel within all of its character in different ways, from Ursula to the Colonel.
Those are my feelings of the book now.
