I still haven’t made up my mind about The Viper. Yes yes - dark and broody, check. But I’m curious to know more about him. I already like Keera. Can’t say why, but I do. You just get a good feeling about her based on the choices she made. I, too, would’ve gorged on cheese and bread and passed out even if I was a POW, lol. My kind of girl.

Completed this book and skipped the teaser. Where to begin? First, still don’t know who the MMC is. Second, I most relate to the dog. I’m a loyal bish who’ll follow my bestie into battle with nothing but claws too. I get to be carried out by a hot man whose name sounds like the worst vegetable, so don’t worry about me. Anyway, I’m fine going to AB. I’ll just pretend Im studying on the boat with our girl.

102 pages of absolute madness is what just happened to me! Chaol, you idiot. Nehemia, you gentle soul. Fleetfoot…ugh yeah no, still a terrible name for a dog. But jfc that was a lot to happen in 100 pages. There was more action in these 100 pages than the first 50% of TOG. Also, Dorian’s gloating? I’m so here for his brand of petty.

Ok, Chaol is very close to joining the running book son list I have. He’s caring, makes her feel safe, watches over her when she is sick…what a keeper! 😍 But also pretending you don’t know you’re really really really ridiculously good looking?
