I've been meaning to start this series for a loooong time, so after all the horror, fantasy & DR I think I need a Dystopian & off this one isn't disappointing!

Dark humour / sarcasm is funny, but pacing has slowed up in the middle section, hoping it picks up as we move more to the conclusion of the book!

Flavours of Butcher & Blackbird & the Slaycation series at the moment with the dark humour.

I've slept on this book for way too long!

Ok I'm getting ore drawn into this series, but finding the excessive smut to plot a bit much!

I always have a night-time read & I'm finding this series very good for that, as it has is a very easy read, but also as it is seems to be more spice than plot at times it's not a brain overload read.

Was hoping to finish, but had to read some of my ARC tonight, but being soooo close to the end I will definitely finish tomorrow.

Being the penultimate book, it is ramping up the tension, the spice, the humour & I may even have to jump into the last book earlier than expected!

Loving the descriptive narrative, just draws you into the scene. Also the having the mortal & non-mortal worlds gives it a more familiar feel, which would be excellent for those wanting to try a fantasy read for the 1st time.

Due to the amount of ARC's I've had to put reading this on hold for the moment - which is sooooo annoying as I just want to sit, read & drink coffee - it's soooo good!

I've been gradually plodding with this ARC read as life was life'ing - now to get my nose in the pages & read!

Loving this instalment - shifters, fae & vampires what more is there to love! & the developing love triangle is 'chefs kiss'

I'm only managing to grab the odd 5 mins here / there to read this book, but I'm loving what I'm reading, very gritty & the realism is fab.

I need several hours to sit down & escape into this book.
