I’m eager to continue and see how Lerner’s insights can be applied within a biblical framework.

I came to this book after finding “Suscipe,” and wanted to read how he came to a life of such bold surrender. Although a Catholic man, his love of Jesus is clear. Some Catholic beliefs contrary to Scripture lie within the book, yet they are not so much so that it’s distracting. The work itself is a clear contemplation on the love of Jesus that such things are worth overlooking so far.
