With every page flip I just kept saying to myself “Phil is such a dick.” George and Rose are so sweet! It’s nice to seemingly be reading about a nice couple in my string of slightly depressing reads thus far!

Finally restarting this read that mali got me for my birthday last year! I’m always sat for gay ranchers. Also the font and general look of the pages is beautiful as well as the writing <3 will probably finish this by the end of the week.

Such beautiful writing. I love the life that comes into Lucy and her words as she describes this first love and really being seen for the first time in her life!

Love recognizing some of the Irish slang from previous Sally Rooney reads! I’m having fun so far and really enjoying Lucy’s internal thoughts/monologue. There are moments when her descriptions get so intense when she’s focused on Susannah…this buzz is gonna hit so good

Slow pace but it’s starting to get interesting. Can’t believe I read Beautiful Word so quickly but am struggling to get through this. Alas I will still finish this one!

Felix pissed me off today, but Lola’s wedding sounded beautiful!

Obsessed with Alice and Felix. Alice is soooo me it kinda makes me ill…

Favorite part from today was:
