The tale of the orphan sent out to beg, who feels like no one loves him except his dead father (so he digs a hole next to his dad's grave to live in, so he can be closer to him) was screwing with my head, so I might return when I am able to deal with this sad tale

Just finished The Life Cycle of Software Objects. I think I am going to cry.

I started a new job and am overwhelmed so couldn’t finish this before it had to go back to the library. So I’m back on the waiting list for it and will finish it whe it is my turn to check it out again!

As the mother of a 9-year-old son, this book freaked my out abot what might be laying in wait for him in a couple of years. I had to return it to the library before I finished reading it, but will either check it out again soonish or buy myself a copy, because I need to get to the light at the end of the tunnel!

I've owned this for awhile and skimmed it a bit, but at this stage in my daughter's development I feel the need to read it a little more in-depth

So far this is one of the most amazing novels I've ever read. Exceptional character studies, beautifully written, and a page-turner to boot.
