Steve Dewey > Recent Status Updates

I'm pausing this one. I've enjoyed other novels by Woolf, but even Woolf was unsure whether this was a novel per se. Certainly it's an intriguing experiment, certainly, it is finely written, but it is, I'm afraid to say, a little dull. I'll come back to it in the near year, perhaps.

Sorry about all the irrelevant updates on ancient books read. I'm slowly backfilling dates, If I've read book multiple times I have to go into the main editing page. If I do that I have to remember to untick the "share to updates" or whatever it is box - which I don't always :)

Just about half way through - would've preferred it if it had remained four novels that I could spread over the year (which I'm doing with the "parts" instead :) )

So, after a Martian Jesus on Earth, I'm reading this - I found it in a charity shop, and it tickled my 1970s-SF-bone, so I bought it.

Here we go then - the first of the books I still own in the edition I brought it in 40 years ago that will be read again this year. If you don't know what I'm on about, see my blog. :)

Oh my word. Fat book time! I've enjoyed most of the Maugham I've read, so I'm hoping it won't take *too* long to wade through this :)
