Picked up well. The recap of the previous book was smart

Can’t decide whether I like Heathcliff or I want to punch Heathcliff but his character is so intriguing. I can’t view him as evil

I felt an unsure start - wasn’t sure if I wanted a book full of Pitt’s whitty man crap - but I have to say I’ve warmed up to the situation and the team of men. Drik’s every so often sprinkle of something makes me eye roll but I’m sure I’ll be used to it by the end

Interesting start. The characters are introduced quite fast which didn’t give me much chance to track the Admiral conversation. But; interesting start and I like a mystery

Blasting through this book after it picked up with all this info and cross threading of theories and peoples relationships. Very interesting and I can’t stop

I am enjoying this twisty turny plot❗️

I feel so bad for Ravi & enjoying the development of his and Pip’s friendship as they start delving into more possibilities of Andie’s disappearance and Sal’s suicide.

I really hope Sal didn’t do it. Feeling very suspicious of Jason Bell & feel as though Naomi was somehow implicated but maybe accidentally ?? But I feel bad for suspecting her

The report sheets are kind of stressing me out. But they are a good idea to move the story on and give information

I’m not saying I expected less stories told and more about a pact, but I expected less focus on the depth of the stories told and more about the pact this far in

Ilonka’s whole past-life situation is interesting. I was concerned that I wouldn’t track the characters but they all have something different about them to mesh them as a friend group and be able to track them all pretty easily

Gosh it got exciting thank god !

Where is the excite my part of this book cause so far I know that one guy paints, one guy is a bit cynical and one guy is really pretty and in love. Where is the lore ?
