This book is stressing me tf out!!!! Every time I try to listen, it just gets worse. I’m terrified for what’s next and keep delaying the inevitable…

I’m LOVING this so far. Literally can’t get enough! I think the last time I went through a book this fast was the knight and the moth. Writing style is pretty good, but I’m loving the pace and progression of the story. I hate when the enemies become lovers and then they’re just…. In love. Kills all the fun tension. Not here!!! Tension for the win!!!!

Obsessed

Obsessed with the banter and Odessa constantly falling on her ass (same girl). I love her inquisitiveness and how she doesn’t feel the need to conform to everyone else’s idea of how nobility should act. She’s awkward and funny as hell and so easy to personally connect to.

So far I’m liking it! I have a lot of questions and theories, so we’ll see where this goes. Also, really can’t complain about an audiobook with Jon Vertullo as a narrator.

That first battle scene was….. chaotic, to say the least. I hope THAT aspect gets better bc I’m pretty sure there’s about to be a war, and I won’t make it if the rest of the battles are written similarly.

It’s getting better! I had a really hard time with the language barrier in the beginning since it’s the audiobook. But it’s starting to pick up! I think it was incorrectly marketed as enemies to lovers. Max misunderstood her for like half a second before they started to develop a friendship.

So far I’m LOVING it!!!!! The gargoyle is my absolute favorite—I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so hard at a character
