I remember starting this back in 2022. I would read it every time on my work shift but it felt heavy that I couldn’t read much of it at once. I FINALLY am picking it back up to finish, as it’s been sitting on my shelf traveling with me from new apartments lol.

It took me awhile to restart this book because after I read the first short story I wanted to get my own copy to annotate. Now almost an entire year later I’m reading the second short story and it’s just hitting so hard. Maybe because I’ve been in a place of melancholy and thinking about relationships and the future, but it’s just so well written even for how short the stories are.

I have to read it a little slower than I normally would to fully grasp everything.
