so many delightful details when this is such horrible heavy history, it really mixes it all well

this is haunting and concise, how do you do that with such dense history

I know it's a common false truth, shaped by homophobia and a crushing hetero-normative culture; but queer is not a reclaimed slur, it is a word we chose for ourselves. And I wish people actually researched that instead of taking it for granted.
