Kinda don’t like the “ fanficy” story the main character writes about ppl in her own life and that being woven into the story but I’m liking the perspective switches from past to present filling in points of the story

Odysseus just left her island, i absolutely loved the way Miller writes in a way that really puts you in Circe’s mind. Also I loved the relationship and dynamic Ody and Circe held

ALSO after the last update miller took us through the aftermath Circe felt after being violated like that. It was so well done, the author is incredibly good at putting the reader into the main characters mind and in the moment

FUCK Circe just got raped and killed the rapist and his crew when she got out of their grip.
I liked the last line so much, it was a call back she said “as it turned out, I did kill pigs that night after all”

That was a heavy chapter to pick to be my stopping point😭 BUT I HAVE TO DO OTHER STUFF SO I CANT KEEP READING PAINNNNNN
