I appreciated the approach and info, but other things came up and it got put down. I may need to buy a copy in audio--although I do want to annotate my hard copy! I intend to return to it eventually, because I hear good things from clinicians and clients alike!

It was so good but I got sidetracked by many other also-good things (#ADHD). I keep meaning to return to this one, because it had such a warm tone and engaging process. Although I haven't personally finished it, with that caveat I do recommend this to others because it is well-regarded by other professionals and I have read enough to see its value.

A great read with a genuine, affirming take grounded in lived experience of Autistic growth into self-love. Occasional use of superficially deficit-based language and lack of mention of Autistic social culture is a minor oversight. Overall does a good job of balancing affirmation of strengths and validation of disability, incl some reference to the wide range of support needs. Likely to become one of my primary recs!

I'm loving this book! I keep marking pages that I hope to use in a grad course I want to develop one day. It's quality info, presented well--not dry or verbose, but thorough and well-grounded in research. Absolutely recommend for clinicians working with Autistic adults.

A deeply empathetic approach to dissociation. As I read, it's wonderful to just absorb Dr. Marich's kind embrace of dissociative diversity while learning.

Good rec for laypeople, & I'd consider it a clinician must-read for anyone working with trauma, ND clients, EMDR, and Parts work. Even for Singlets (non-Systems), this book still covers the wider range of dissociation that will be relevant regardless.
