The French really do just eat better from the beginning. Like a meeting among the chefs of the daycare about the menu for the month. Making sure there’s no repeats and different fruits and vegetables PLUS dessert? Amazing 😩

I think it’s interesting that such a small thing as making your children greet/say hello to adults when walking into a business or house can help them feel more confident and at the same “level” as the adults. It gives them respect both ways.

It’s so crazy how two different cultures have such different parenting styles. And this first part about “the pause” with sleeping isn’t that mind blowing or even obvious to most French people but it helps the moms/families SO much. I will definitely be attempting the pause so they can “do their nights” by 2 months

When I imagine a perfect life, especially for my family, there’s almost no screens involved. I’d love to just have one tv, a family computer, our phones, and nothing else. When imagining an ideal schedule for a growing child/teenager… there’s no time or reasoning that social media should even be involved! Let alone a kid having open access to anything on the internet! No wonder kids are chronically depressed!
