Stag Dance - honestly a little tough to read in whatever dialect/vernacular it was written in. Another story about the pain queer people feel, inflicted by both other queer people and heterosexuals, but not really about inflicting that pain on others. Instead we see how Babe carries that pain, processes it, forms identity around it, and because of this, becomes the target of hate and violence.

Part One: Indiana

The road to Jonestown was LONG, and it was pretty clear where it was going from the jump.

Interesting how the author changes her writing style between stories. Stag dance is self is slightly harder to read than the two proceeding short stories. More jargon, along, and vernacular.

At times I feel like a babe Bunyan, but I also know that for many Babes I have been their Lisan.

The chaser - not sure I would’ve called the narrator a chaser? Definitely some sort of confused teen, attracted to femininity (maybe regardless of sex?). Ultimately a story yet again about the want queer people hold to make people around us hurt in the ways we do. The narrators inability to grapple and confess truth hurts him as well.
