Well, I've listened to this before. Always enjoy C J Cherryh's works.

Been working my way through Gollancz Masterworks both fantasy and science fiction. Yes, some writers appear in both genres. Here's some I've read. HG Wells The War of The Worlds. Micheal Moorcock Dances At The End Of Time. Downward To Earth by Robert Silverbergh, Where late The Sweet Birds Sang by Kate Wilhelm. , The Space Machine by Christopher Priest, The Child Garden by Geoff Ryman . The Best of Connie Willis.

This author was hosting a Waterstones event. She introduced herself and told the audience . She writes novels. Okay I thought I will try one of her novels. This was the one I bought.

Strange that I have never read such a famous book. I've read the sequel before I read this one.

Not quite sure about the difference between a horror novel and a supernatural thriller. These things keep awake at night.

Mmm, curious introduction to Masterwork. Not sure how to take it.

Really enjoying this. Last couple of sessions to go. Today's the day.

One of those . I 've always wanted to read. Glad I did. I 'm enjoying t so far.

Big space battles coming soon. Whilst not intellectually challenging these book are great entertainment .

These are always fun . Good space opera.
