I like it so far. The beginning was a bit jarring with how you are just thrown into it no context, but I kind of liked it. Avoids having to deal with boring exposition.

Wow, the book is not even close to done yet and shit went down. I haven’t read many books before, but of those I have read. None of have hit me like this one to date. A lot of the reading in this portion of the book was quite slow for me but the climax was devastating.

So far very good actually. The writing style is good. A bit difficult to remember all the Chinese names as I am not used to it but I don’t think it’s a big deal. The power system is somewhat generic but I assumed it will be expanded substantially as the story continues. The characters are likeable in my opinion.

So far doesn’t seem that interesting to me. A Lot of the MC just stressing out and not much else. We will see tho. There is some mystery but I’m not particularly interested in figuring it out.
