been a busy christmas so haven’t been as consistent with reading but i’m back. with the level this book is going i can see it being my favourite of the series so far

took a little break from reading bc i’m on holiday with my friends but really engaging so far

been a little while since i read this but i lost my copy of it??? so ive been searching for it for ages and finally gave up hope and just downloaded it on my kindle

i don’t plan on reading everything within here straight away, only howl and kaddish.
howl is a phenomenal poem and it’s easy to see why it’s so critically acclaimed. denouncing standard american ideals, and the capitalistic world which only furthered post war. one of my personal favourite parts was how it made new york its own character, and showed how it’s strayed away from what people originally saw it as.
