Fantastic first part

IT KEEPS GETTING BETTER

To say I’m obsessed is an understatement. Each chapter brings something new and exciting. I don’t know what happened to Maas between the first 4 books and this, but QoS is such a large gap in quality. They just revealed Erawan being under Morath.. this is so peak.

Obsessed with everything about this so far

This is very obviously going to be my favorite out of the 5 I’ve read. Maas has done enough with the story that this book flows so easily with everything going on. I love Nesryn.

Already that first chapter has me hooked and interested in Dorian again

Omg they kissed. Their romance feels so natural I’m gonna be crushed by the end of this

I don’t know how people consider this the worst in the series this is great

The Assassin and the Desert might just be some of Maas’ best storytelling, absolutely adored this part and Celaena and Ansel’s dynamic

So I’ve finally started reading and I’ve just finished the assassin and the healer. This is honestly really enjoyable for some short novellas. Now I just need to prepare for the pain at the end of this book.

I wish I could say I’m sad about Sorscha but Dorian’s story was boring and unbearable this book

Ok so it is getting a lot better, especially with calaena/aelin’s relationship with rowan. Manon’s chapters are awesome, dorian i rlly don’t care about you now, chaol im waiting for you to become great

Ok it definitely got better now that we spent more time with aelin developing her powers and seeing her growth with Rowan. Also manon is so cool like who gaf about chaol and Dorian I want all aelin and manon povs now

the only black and only poc character is dead, chaol sucks, calaena’s obsession with chocolate cake is killing me, dorian we love you and i hope you master your powers, calaena you’re a badass assassin but why are we sneaking off our post to DANCE OH MY FUCKING LORDDDD
