I find Holden to be a humorous person. I’ve only just begun reading this book and already I feel a deep connection between his character and I.

At the start of reading this book, I found it to be daunting. But once I got immensely concentrated the writing style and level of classic writing was easier to comprehend. I am a slow reader and like to comprehend what I read, when I read. I am determined to finish this book before the end of the month, but I won’t promise anything. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

The only classic I have ever read is ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’ which is commonly a beginners classic. Transitioning to a more intermediate or advanced level of classics is evidently more tricky despite my having read only 14 pages. It is more difficult but not impossible I think, to finish this book.

Having watched the film already makes it easier to imagine what’s happening, scene by scene. I am so glad I get both point of views, after all, it is Flipped!

There’s a lot of inner monologue—not as much dialogue as I wish there was. But so far it is a 3 ⭐️ read.
