I was reading this at a birthday party and my brother goes "Have you gotten to the part where ___ happens?" Like oh my gosh why can't I just read my book without it getting spoiled
Also I feel so bad for Johnny like my poor little baby has to be okay. I heard a really serious political debate at school recently so the whole "socs and greasers are all just people" hit really hard

Ok ok I think I figured it out. I think the movie this reminds me of is "The house at the end of the street" the one with Jennifer Lawrence in it. Just like especially with the whole fighting scene right at the beginning it reminded me of the high schoolers beating up Ryan for what happened to his family. So yeah... I'm not crazy I promise

This book reminds me so much of a movie I've seen before like I can see the movie playing in my head but I just can't put my finger on which movie. I'll have to get back to you

Like genuinely this book got me through this past month when I was crying over assignments, super stressed, and on the edge of snapping this book was there through it all

Also plot freaking twist. This is the best thing ever I literally saw it coming. The second the doorbell rang I knew. It's literally so sweet like I love Damion so much and the way he cares for Julia

I'm whipping out my Epic the musical knowledge to read this book. It's actually super interesting and I'm a little surprised by how much I'm enjoying it! I've been listening to Epic the musical while I read it! Also I'm learning lots of new words so I'm feeling super smart like the book starts in media res (that's a Latin phrase hehe I'm so smart).

My audiobook glitched and returned itself a day early and I was SO CLOSE to finishing it
So I put a hold on the physical book so I could finish the book I'm going to pick it up from the library this weekend
