Okay I’m realllyyy loving this more than i expected. I try to keep expectations low to not be disappointed but i love vampires and i am loving the eroticism (i knew it wouldn’t be overly explicit and more lyrical, if thats the right word?? Which kinda made me worried that it would be too corny or cheesy to actually enjoy but it’s not) it’s so beautiful and lovely wow. I want to read nonstop ..

I was unsure about the letter format when i first heard of it, but I like this a lot so far. It feels as if you are right there as it’s happening (rather than reading a letter)

Sooo soo incredible. Disturbing too. It’s bittersweet!! I love it all. I am glad i am able to read again. I am sad i ever paused because of how much i am enjoying this book.

Okay. So it actually seems to be going well now, which I’m thankful for. I was too excited for this book for me to stay feeling the way i was, so i’m glad it’s now staying interesting. I was frustrated for so long before i typed out my last update. I’m hopeful this interest will stick, and i will be happy (not relieved) that i finished it.

I don’t know if i’m dumb or maybe my attention span is just bad. Yes, my ADHD does have me rereading things because i get distracted, but i find some things not making sense or just seemingly unimportant- like they were added to make the book longer? I don’t know. Some parts are really interesting, but it also feels repetitive and boring as well. Every time something happens, it slows down again
