Finished ch 9. 6/20/2026 DNF

Why are Terlu and Lottie both so annoying? Neither have social decorum. Terlu doesn't know when to shut up and when she's talking too much. Lottie is self centered and rude

To be honest, I was mid on my emotional attachment to the story and characters. The generational trauma was too real for me. But the epilogue spanning 3 years made me cry so much. Healing and happily in healthy love is all we can hope for

This book was brought to my attention as a non graphic yet still spicy romance novel. The third in a series but you don't need to read the previous ones. And there's tons of consent!
Just divorced Ava meets handsome hotel owner Roman and have a one night stand.
She has clear insecurities due to how she was brought up and body issues because of her ex. She doesn't understand that her pleasure matters until Roman
