Wowow!! A lot is happening!! I am stressed for both Psyche and Eros but I love the back and forth between their perspective during this collision because it’s easy to sympathise with both of them

They finally meet!! 🥳
My fav lines from Part 1:
“Joy hid everywhere. In the scent of grass and dirt when I lay on the ground. In the feel of heat on my skin on summer days, and the whip of cold in winter.”
“A new prison, with one cruel comfort: I was finally free from the men's eyes.”
“She longed to see more, to see everything, longed to get close to the heat of her and hear her every secret.”

So far, pretty intriguing and full of description. I’ve been tabbing new words in an attempt to broaden my vocabulary. Safe to say, despite only being 31 pages in, my book is full of annotations, definitions and tabs.
