I saw the Housemaid movie. This is the first time I’ve read a book before the movie adaptation, and I finally understand everyone who says “the book was better than the movie.”

I’m so sad they made Enzo such an insignificant character to the plot 💔

hi! it’s been a while. I wanted to give an update on the fire situation. after months of being forced to live in a tiny place with my family and struggling to stay afloat financially, we’ve finally got news that we will be able to move back into our home in a few weeks. just in time for christmas 🥹! we won’t be able to afford doing anything special for christmas, but at least we’ll be home!!

it’s been rough y’all. last week (on my birthday) my house caught on fire & now my family & I are displaced & under a massive amount of stress.

because of this, I’ve gotten behind with school & work and I’m so overwhelmed trying to catch up while dealing with all this personal stuff. I know I’ll get through this, but the strength I need to pull out to do so is going to exhaust me.

ugh I’ve been too busy with school and work to read, hate that for me
