In chapter 16 white boy Nick says they rushed in the room cause they heard her screaming. Then he offers for her to stay in his room. Said he would sleep on the floor & she’d take the bed. Within the same chapter, a couple pages later he’s skeptical when she asks can she stay there & then she ask how did he know to come help her. Ummm.. 🤔

I’m IRRITATED!!!

I was initially intrigued. The plot sounded promising. But I mean, every messy turn this story could take, it’s taking it! I know many people like that… so by all means. Also, I love to support independent, black authors, but we gotta get some editors. I’m a teacher, so the incorrect spelling, verb tenses, & grammatical errors is triggering. 🤣🤣
