One thing that always always bothers me is a poorly done timeline when author highlights it was 'few weeks', 'all that time', 'always' - it was literally a week and a day, babe.

I loved it at the start, but become tired around half way. MMC is absolutely a green flag, but FMC was stubborn for no reason. However, this is a great pacing for standalone with lots of substance and interesting plot.
