Im only 31% in and this book gives me so many feelings. I'm scared for Darrow, angry for Reds and yearn for Mustang. Remember when I thought MK Roehrich gives emotional damage? pffft, it was kindergarten of emotional damage, Golden Son is just another level of writing. Also, writing was a bit difficult to get used to in book 1, but here I don't seem to have an issue with the style.

it starts to drag a bit, I feel like I am waiting for something to happen, kinda considering DNF, lacks this depth in characters and plot plus she get all bothered in out of place situations (almost dying at the hunt or after a week staving)

it took mi 4 days to get into 30%, long description of not much, I've seen god reviews, but not sure if I am in reading slump or is this book a bit boring

I'm going to soft DNF, it's a fun easy read, probably 3⭐️ or 3,5 for new romantasy readers. There is a cute villian, good humor, I like how powers works and the pentagram based citadel, all side characters are great.

Received an ArC copy from NetGalley after I have seen this to be compared to Assistant to the Villain - I am expecting lots of humor. Not bad so far, particularly first sentence: Kidnap Cute Bride.

I'm not sure if I like FMC (should I like her at all? - feel that she is not created to be liked), but the feminine rage is real
