This story is very addicting. Reminds me of those other things I read, definitely. I read a review before starting that said something along the lines of “if you’re expecting misery porn, this is not it” but honestly that review was WRONG. Maybe I don’t have a good definition of misery porn but honestly that’s what I feel it is. Things just spiral downhill

I’m intrigued. So was that voice Teacher Choi or something supernatural? That ending bit may have been a flashback rather than a time loop. Is it like an eternal punishment for what Teacher Lee did to Choi, by supposedly taking her husband?

That was such an intriguing story. There’s karma in revenge… but for both sides. Was the revenge worth it? People act selfishly all the time. I think the moral wrong here was the effect on innocent people like the grandson.

& the bit about it replacing her and living her life in her place is the mental illness taking over. She’s succumbed to the psychosis and is no longer the one at the wheel.
The ending is ambiguous—she could very possibly escape the toilet bowl the same way the head did.
Does mental illness struggle to conquer us the same way we seek to conquer it? Is it valiant on both sides of the fight? Survival of fittest?
