I’m not sure how I’m feeling about this book yet. It hasn’t hooked me in so far. I’ll keep going and see how I feel at page 100

Wow. I actually am understanding this so much better than the movie lol. The science makes sense and I know what they’re up to when they’re experimenting. I had no idea what they were doing in the movie at all!

ROCKY’S COMING!!! Also, the movie made Grace seem quirkier and clumsier. I kinda was hoping to read about that. Oh well. A bit of a shame. But he is a scientist! He should act responsible when he’s about to die

HOLY SHIT. SO MANY THINGS HAPPENED. THEY WERE HAPPY. GOD THEY WERE HAPPY. THEN THEY HAD KIDS. AND THEN VIVIAN CAME BACK AND IT WAS ALL HER PLAN????? IM GOING CRAZY JUST LIKE OWEN. NOTHING IS REAL. EVERYTHING IS PREDETERMINED. THEY HAVE GONE THROUGH EVER POSSIBLE ENDING MULTIPLE TIMES. GOD. AND UNA DIED AND VIVIAN’S HER MUM. O. M. G. IM GOING ABSOLUTELY INSANE. I LOVE THIS BOOK AND IM ALREADY GRIEVING IT 😭

I genuinely cannot even fathom how they can out run and out smart Vivian at a game that she has so clearly mastered! SHES PROBABLY ALREADY BEEN THROUGH THEM RUNNING AWAY AND KNOWS HOW TO GET THEM. God I’m scared for them. But they obviously aren’t happy and being on the run isn’t living. So it’s going to get WAY WAY worse before it gets better 😭

HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO GOOOOOOOODDDDDDD!! God I love this book so much! Alix is DESTROYING this concept! ITS SO WELL DONE!!! I am looking forward to Owen beating the shit out of Vivian again! I can’t believe that she is going back in time again and again just to better herself. AND THE FACT THAT SHE PLAYS OUT AN ENTIRE LIFETIME EVERY TIME. AND SHE PUT UNA THROUGH THE GOD DAMN RINGER!!! SHE IS SELFISH AND GREEDY!

AN UNA PERSPECTIVE?????? HOW DID WE GET SO LUCKY!!!!! AND OMG SHE WAS DOWN BADDDDDD. Probably from all her previous lives, where they had journeyed together and had fallen in love multiple times. GOD this is so good! I’m really enjoying this. WHY CANT THEY JUST HAVE A HAPPY ENDING!!!?!?!! 😭😭

Holy heck! So this is all Vivian’s plan?!?! Crazy! And poor Una. Having her life toyed with and being used as a tool! God this concept it so freaking good!! And at the end where Vivian said “you never do” after Owen said he’d remember, MEANS THAT SHES BROUGHT HIM BACK IN TIME MULTIPLE TIMES. O. M. G. HE HAS ALREADY GONE THROUGH ALL OF THAT?!?!?! I LOVE THIS BOOK. I need to know how he breaks the loop!

God damn. She was ready to kill herself 😭😭. She has such a sad story and yet Owen is making her his ideal version. And I get this is because he loves her so much that he wants her to be remembered forever, however he isn’t representing the REAL her!!! God I’m not even 100 pages in and it’s a tragedy!!

A very interesting idea. I was curious as to how he was supposed to go back in time. I’m a bit disappointed that it was so easy. Oh well! And it’s real obvious that he was playing with Una as a young boy. I reckon that he has gone into the past repeatedly through out his life. Since Una did say that she had seen him following her around before. That would be cool. I reckon he cut his own throat. Or tried to flee.

NEARING THE END!!!!! God I love this book

I didn’t know that the Ares 3 crew were ready to kill themselves if they couldn’t get the payload to work?? And Johanssen was supposed to eat their bodies when the food ran out???? Crazy.

This is already WAY more scientific than the movie. And I kinda like it! It’s basic enough for me to understand - although he does lose me sometimes - but it’s fun to learn something new! I’m having fun reading this!

I’m really excited to start this book. The movie is my absolute favourite!! I just know I’m gonna love this book! And I already have a picture of Watney - MATT DAMONNNNNNNNNNNN
