This book was better than the third, but incredibly predictable. Characters were a bit more developed than the previous book, but still lacked depth.

The book was long. While I appreciate the backstory for content it felt like too much of the book focused on the backstory and then sped up through the meat or heart of the story. The resolution, in my opinion was underdeveloped. Not my favorite.

The hook offers valuable insights, but for someone who teaches pre-service best practices, these are things I already do on a daily basis. It was a good reminder for us practitioners.

The book was an emotional roller coaster. The epilogue was a good booked for the story.

It's a slow start. The older parts are kind of boring and hard to get into. It's predictable. The was hoping it would end differently.
