SO GOOD, chapter one is buns but gets way better

Pretty buns I can’t lie. Hard for me to get into the plot, works building is cool but not when there’s this much going on all at the same time

first 3 short stories have been truly eye opening. found myself taking pictures of quotes which i’ve never done before - here’s a good one “Contemplate the marvel that is existence, and rejoice that you are able to do so. I feel I have the right to tell you this because, as I am inscribing these words, I am doing the same.”

This book has almost entirely shifted from the two protagonists this series started with. I enjoy the world building in this book - unexpected considering it is the last.

I like how moral compass is highlighted throughout the book - but with hints of human nature seeping through. This is probably how i’d be if I was a scythe too.

interesting so far, the journal entries before every chapter is a unique concept. Helps with the world building that isn’t really explored during the material itself.
