Peculiar.

Maybe one of the more creative yet seamless ways to jump into a Sci Fi story that doesn’t overwhelm you yet completely submerges you in the subject matter. This very much feels like the opening moments of a video game where you’re learning the controls and context along with the hero. Fascinating stuff. Chapter a day pace so far has been pretty fun. Maybe two tomorrow!

Sometimes it’s easy to forget how much you miss people until you see them again.

So far, the book has a great bit of exposition about every little thing in the world that makes you feel stationary at times despite the words wanting to you to keep moving with the character.
