Things are escalating and I’m feeling somewhat engaged in it all and how it’ll all pan out, but I’m not sure how I feel about the switching of perspectives every chapter. I can’t remember if she had set up the groundwork for Elm and Ione in the first book because it feels like it is a throw in here to add some romance into this book. I guess I can’t complain too much though since it is fun

Okkk so maybe the whole Elm and Ione thing isn’t so bad 😜🤭

It is taking me a second to get into it since I finished the first book a bit ago. It seems a pairing with Elm and Ione is happening which I feel conflicted about since it feels a little left field. We shall see how it pans out.
