Interesting book, McCarthy doesn’t include quotations around people’s speech, making the story read more like a casual dialogue of the characters. I’m definitely into it, but will be one of those books where you really have to pay attention to every like, especially here so you can keep track of who is speaking.

This guy gives even me the ick for how he’s obsessed with a flower more than a girl, but I guess a black flower is pretty cool. Simple read so far but speaks a lot to dreams and addiction, very good.

Doesn’t seem to have a Sparknotes or anything adjacent… gonna have to rawdog this badboy
