Amy Jesionowski is 50% done with The Leftovers

I started this book because I really like the new series on HBO. I like the characters, the story lines, the pacing. I never expect the book to be the same, as I find it's usually better. Everything I like so much about the show, that should be amplified in the book, I do not like at all. I usually don't do this - but I'm putting it down. I just can't slog through it anymore.
