This love triangle is stressing me out and I’m getting pretty bored of the setting and plot. Big books are not for me

I wish I chose to read this book AFTER I read release me. It has all of my favourite things but I keep thinking of Release me instead

The angst in this book is killingggg me 😩 I feel so bad for everyone 😭 I really hope the whole situation with Jessamine and stinky Nate is her taking charge of the situation and not just some remaining feelings from the two seconds where they were together (and you’d think that she’d be put off by that too…) Now they’re going TO A MASQUERADE BALLLLL

This is the hardest love triangle I’ve ever had to choose from 😩 How come they all go so well together 😞 I can’t believe Will kept Tessa’s note (and quoted it too omg) and the ANGSTTTT between the entire group(“the one person I trusted more than any other made sport of what’s killing me”)!! Also I think Jem is so so sweet with Tessa. Bring back soft love interests ✊

Yes Will’s curse is very sad boohoo 😢 I don’t understand why he doesn’t just leave everyone though? Like charlotte already loves him because he’s been with her for so long?? Or he could also kill himself if he thinks his life rn is so torturous. Would that be a better option than possibly killing everyone else around him?

I thought Jessamine pretending to be a man was so that she could experience a relationship with a woman. Like I thought she was a lesbian but apparently that’s not the case 🤨 I wonder why she did it?

Some of the worst writing I have EVER read! Her depiction of vampires is the worst one Ive seen so far. THE most annoying main character and way way way too much swearing 👎

I like the scenes where they do their academic stuff together. I also forgot to write that I liked the tree scene but I do wish they’d just get would’ve stayed in the cottage.

Ooookay is now really the time 🤨 Also j don’t get why Mr Parry did that to them?? Woukd he have gotten arrested?? I swear these two have NEVER used their geography skills the entire book. And now when they need it the most, they seem very very preoccupied with the most useless thing ever. NOW’S NOT THE TIME

Ugh not urinating again 😒 Also I wish they’d just get a calm, quiet moment but it always has to be distributed for the sake of the “funny” writing style and the fact that the author wants to keep it fast paced I guess

They put Darcy’s love confession in 😭 even the stutter 😭 What makes it worse is that they actually referenced pride and prejudice at the beginning of this book

The way this is written is fun but makes me feel less connected to the characters. Also some parts of this book make feel like I shouldn’t be reading this in school…

This writing style is really funny (although I'll most likely get sick of it later) and I'm liking the set up. It does feel a littlllle too similar to Beth ad Devon...Also I don't like the insta love and obsessing over physical appearances.

Oh my god this plot twist???!!!? That’s so crazy! I didn’t like Nate at all but I never would’ve thought…I didn’t believe DeQuincey was the magister either but HIM??!? I was feeling bad for him too. He was so involved in Tessa’s parent’s life as well. What’s the truth behind her past??

Jem is so nice. He reminds me of Peeta kinda

Aww Tessa’s cute actually. I liked her and Will’s conversation about books. The writing in this isn’t very good though. I feel like the author didn’t do enough research about this time period, it’s not feeling very authentic, just like the standard stuff people think of “Women don’t have those sort of feelings” Ot feels like Tessa’s personality is changing a ton but maybe we never got to know her…

So far everything’s just petty average and Tessa’s boring. I imagined the Dark sisters as the Gray Sisters so I kept on getting confused when they said miss Gray 😭

The writing in this is really awful. They do a lot of telling instead of showing. “Her big sincere eyes” stopppp it 😩 why are we writing how I wrote my short stories in grade seven 🤦‍♀️ It’s literally that and the comics I made in grade five squashed together. Also Agatha is really really cringey. She reminds me of those kids that are friends with the dumb smart people (the Redditor yk)

Oh also Lara Jean has to beg him to do anything. He’s like a baby. I really hope there’s something else going on and it’s not just that he’s upset that he won’t see her… Whatever it is, I don’t understand why he’s not telling her! I can sense a breakup brewing and I reallyyyyy don’t want it to happen. Lara Jean better not be the one who has to step up AGAIN.

Peter better have a good excuse for acting the way he is. I hate when people treat me the way he’s treating Lara Jean 😒

Aww Peter IS bettering himself. Lara Jean is turning him into a nerd. I’m glad that when he does things like finishing big book series, Lara Jean doesn’t make a big deal out of it which implies that he does things like this often. All of this is a big improvement from the whole plagiarizing Edgar Allan Poe situation.

WHY did she cut her bangs shorter 😩 It’s like Anne’s green hair debacle all over again! Also I really don’t like Ilse’s father. What her mother did certainly cant be THAT bad. It’s not fair to condemn your child for such a thing anyways. “Why would I waste my time educating HER.” He better not be completely forgiven like the other man child from the Anne books. Aunt Laura reminds me of those didis.
