It’s a slow burn for sure. I’m not sure if I like the dynamics or not. The grandfather told the grandson so soon which makes me think something much bigger is coming. Also the red headed woman meeting up with sam is suspicious too. And jason and Sam’s relationship!

I’m like hella confused LOL there’s definitely something really interesting going down but I have no idea what it is. I feel like I have to reread everything I already read because I missed stuff. Hopefully things start clicking soon…

I can smell a 5/5 in the air! I love the way this book flows and how there are mini stories within the bigger story and all different characters. I also love how the end of each chapter (person) ends in a cliff hanger, it’s like a never ending cycle of wanting more and I can’t wait to keep going!

I’m definitely very interested and love the switch of characters and their own little stories every 3-5 pages! I’m excited to see how it all plays out! This could potentially be a 4 or a 5! Fingers crossed!

The second half of the book is much betttterrr!!! I’m flying through it in like 2 days. I’d finish it right now but I’m too tired lol. A lot more tea and gossips in second half.

It’s definitely a slow burn for me because I am used to a fast pace or really involved thriller. It’s cool and also sad to ready this about Jeanette’s life. I finally got to the beginning of icarly days which I am excited about! It’s cool to learn about the real vibe on the set.

I appreciate the way Jeanette is detailing out her life and introducing her family members to us. I am reading this because I heard it was amazing, heartfelt, sad, etc and I am looking forward to going through that journey of emotions. That said, I’m only 50 pages in and I’m not exactly hooked yet but hopefully I’ll get there!

I’m already hooked and love the throw back of the 9/11 part and then fast forward to present-ish time and the introduction of all the characters. I have high hopes for this one!

I’ve definitely been feeling more connected to the book as things that are said are standing out of me a little more. I look forward to finishing and seeing if the book is all it cracks up to be.

I’m having a hard time getting through this book. While the author has great points and I see his vision, it’s just about of repetition and honestly boring. As a vaper, I really am trying to hold out hope and faith that by the end of this I will be able to quit. Will post a following update tomorrow!

While there have definitely been some interesting points made and realizations, I am still not convinced I will be able to quit vaping “so easily”. I really believe in this book and want it to work so bad. So I am keeping an open mind as I continue reading!

I’ve been telling everyone that this may be my next 5/5 book! It’s giving look closer vibes by having mini plots within the bigger plot and I have NO idea what’s gonna happen… I love it… hopefully I’m not disappointed

So far I’m definitely hooked! There are a lot of characters already introduced which is making it a bit confusing. There is eugenia, who is obsessed with a murderer. Ethan hall who I believe is one of the main characters who used to be an FBI agent but is now an ER DOCTOR. Who is being recruited to help with the cold callie jones case. Excited to see what’s next! Running out of space but will update!

It’s definitely getting a little more interesting now that we are learning a little more about the “twins” behind the chain. I’m curious about how it actually started with the first kidnapping and if rachel, Pete, and Erik are able to trace anything. I still feel like the book was extremely drawn out tho :/

Nothing “shocking” has happened. There was one part where I thought uncle Pete was behind the whole thing when rachel walked into the kidnapping house and saw his gun and “drugs”. But so far, everything that has supposed to happen, has happened. I’m waiting for shit to get crazy!!!

I definitely am intrigued by the concept still and want to learn more/hear more from “the chain”. I feel like it’s getting a littleeeeee dragged out but I’m definitely still entertained. I hope something big happens soon!

This book is definitely a quick read and certainly has my Attention. My main concern is the size of the book and if they are going to drag the story out longer than they need to. I also want more details about the chain and the bitcoin side of it. The first 50 pages def have potential so we shall see

It’s finallly getting juicy when we get to daphnes part 2. It’s honestly terrifying thinking about being her. I hope something good happens or they team up or something against him. Idk what I want the outcome to be

I started reading this book because my mom said it was sooooo good so I trust her judgment. I am almost halfway through the book and things are FINALLY happening. Hopefully all of the stupid, small details in the beginning are leading up to something. I’m also a little confused when Amber keeps referring back to her past life and feel like I missed when that was explained? But idk. I also feel bad for Daphne :(

The book is a good page turner and I like the back and forth between the podcast episode with Ian and Poe being with her dad but I’m getting just a bit bored. I want a plot twist to happen. Hopefully something does soon since there are so many pages?

I’m definitely excited to see who is being held hostage in the other room whether it’s Kip or poes dad. I love the short chapters! It’s an easy read and definitely entertaining. Some parts are a bit drawn out but I’m really liking it so far!

Ready for another plot twist if there is one!

I’m definitely hooked! In general, I love the quick chapters and the minimal characters so far. When you introduce so many characters at once, I tend to get confused.

Now, getting into more detail, I am so curious why Kip her boyfriend randomly broke up with her right in the beginning. I get he thinks she is hiding something, but it seemed odd. I feel like he could be a plot twist!

I think I’m gonna have to DNF this book. I hate having to do that but I am so bored and NOTHING has happened. So I’ve made the decision to read spoilers because I don’t want to pick it up anymore

I like how each chapter is a different character POV but it is definitely getting a little confusing - I think there are too many characters. And then some of the chapters are just labeled like “that night” or “the day day” with no one as the narrator.

That said, I think the book is building suspense to something big (hopefully) between the note to Jules and everyone just being weird. A little bored tho :(

So far so good! I’ve been introduced to the wedding planner, the bride, the plus one of the brides best friend, and also the bride. I like the fact there are some “spicy scenes” in it because thrillers often miss that aspect! I’m excited to keep learning more about everyone and trying to figure out underlying clues!
