Already in love with this book.

Loving it, so far.

Terrifying.

These plot twists are getting out of hand...

This took a while to take off but now I love it!

I love this story so much. I watched the movie when I was a child and for the longest time didn't know that it was actually a Stephen King story. But the way he completely narrowed the way children are and how endless school free summers feel, that stayed with me since.

I have to say, though, I feel so sad for those boys and how much toxic masculinity is around them all day long. Jeez.

It's really picking up now! Can't wait to finish this but I also don't want it to the end. The part with the ice scoop (no spoiler but those who read it know what I'm talking about) ....... Phew.

Really enjoying this so far.

I did not expect it to go down this route, but I love it. Maybe not as much as the Martian, but it's great. This is my cup of tea.

"As I said in the beginning, this is a horror story." Despite this quote this book doesn't feel like a Stephen King. I keep forgetting that's one by him. It shows what a gifted writer he really is (although he tends to go overboard at the end of his books, we'll see about this one).

This turned serious pretty fast. Phew. But it's still so refreshing and, maybe you could call it that, uncynical. I also didn't expect to like the characters so much. I'll be sad once I finished this.

I didn't know this book would so funny.

Only forty pages in and I love this so much already!
