This book was a most unusual reading experience for me. First it is written by one of most favorite authors of all time, Patricia Cornwell, who normally has me invested in thr first few pages. This book it took me up to Chapter Ten (10) before I was finally getting into despite reading it daily. I kept plugging away waiting for it to become a bit more enticing or exciting and finally Chapter Ten I felt invested.

I have not begun this book yet. Not sure why it's listed here.

So far this story is outstanding! It grabbed me from the first page and is hard to put down. This is a book I could read all day every day until I turned the last page. That Branch Family is somethin' let me tell you. I left off last night with Mabel telling Buck they'd found Lester's body.....oh boy!
